Advocacy

There are many paths to social change, but finding the right avenue, at the right moment, is key. Working with policymakers, government staff, news media, and grassroots advocates, there have been some tremendous strides forward.

Past Efforts

Our advocacy efforts work through testimony, papers, and art exhibits. We find the most meaningful ways to connect with people by giving voice to stories that were once silenced. In this place of understanding, our leaders can rethink and reshape the programs, processes, and policies that are intended to support those in need, so that they will ultimately be more effective.

If you have a trauma-related issue that you think needs attention, consider sharing it on Trauma Informed social media groups on LinkedIn and Facebook. These forums are a great place to share and stimulate conversation.

Together, we can affect change to improve the supportive relationships that promote healing, learning, and wellness.
